I’m Joz Ramirez, founder of Joz Guitars. Born in Mexico, I built my first electric guitar at age 10, driven by curiosity and the need to create. Years later, after moving to Los Angeles, I became a professional musician and producer, battle-testing guitars I built for myself on tours across the U.S. and crafting custom instruments for other musicians and producers along the way.

Each guitar I make now carries those decades of trial, error, and hard-won experience. From letting a neck rest for a month so the wood settles properly, to ensuring stainless steel frets can handle years of abuse, every decision is about longevity and playability.

Over 20 years of building and playing, and thousands of miles on the road, Joz Guitars is built on experience, not theory. The bigger vision? To keep creating instruments that fuel creativity and last a lifetime of gigs.
